Day 8: Who Will Avenge Me?

What David did and how he continued to honor the king was not an easy task. God never said that life would be easy — but He has given us the grace to overcome every situation! I walked through a similar situation when I had a boss that was jealous because she didn’t know as much as I did about my departments. I wish I could tell you that I was as good as David but NOPE! I talked about her to other people. Next thing I knew — I was called in the office and written up. (My only write up in 22 years) I deserved it! I confessed and asked her to forgive me and never again did I speak of her negatively.

Psalm 18:21 says, “Through Your power, O Lord, I will never forget that both death and life are in the power of the tongue.”

When I obey God, repent, and keep my mouth shut — He always vindicates me. He will do the same for you!
