We are excited for this Sunday’s special Baby/Child Dedication Service. We’re thrilled that we have 15 children being dedicated – what an incredible blessing! To accommodate everyone, some dedications will take place during the 9:00 AM service (these families have been confirmed) and others during the 11:00 AM service.

 

Reserving Seats:

Due to limited seating and the number of families that we will have in attendance, we kindly ask that you send someone early to save the number of seats that you need for your extended family. We will have a section reserved for dedication families but we can only guarantee enough seats for your child's immediate family in this section.

 

Ceremony Instructions:
If you have any siblings that will need to be a part of the ceremony please check them out during gathering or beginning of the offering. As the slideshow and song begins right after offering, that will be your cue to make your way to the front of the church. Family, friends, and sponsors are encouraged to remain in their seats during the ceremony. Pastor will first address the parents, asking them to commit to raising their child(ren) in the ways of the Lord. She will then ask family, friends, and sponsors to stand and will address them as well. Finally, Pastor will address the congregation as a whole.

Exiting for your family photo:
After your family has been prayed for, you will exit out of the side door closest to the bookstore and meet one of our photographers on the patio. The photographer will get a photo of each immediate family and child as quickly as possible.

We are thanking God for the great work He will do in and through each of these families. Children are a gift from the Lord Psalms 127:3.
