You Did It!
Pastor Lisa Womble
You have completed the 21-day Fast! You have learned that denying the flesh brings much spiritual fruit. I pray that you have increased in knowledge, wisdom, and love. A love for God, His Word, His presence, and love for each other.
" 1-2 By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.
3-5 There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!“ — Romans 5:1-5 MSG
We are to live in hope and peace and we are to live a life of rejoicing. So, when Satan comes to steal your hope, your peace, or your ability to rejoice, remember this scripture and start rejoicing.
Rejoice that you're in Him. Rejoice that heaven is your home. Rejoice that your God hears and speaks to you. Rejoice that greater is He that is you than he who is in the world.
Rejoice that ___________________________________ (start putting your testimonies in here).
Make your list of reasons to rejoice - pull them out and use it to remind the devil who you are and that he is defeated. Remember this: When things get hard don’t let go of the Word. That's when you double your time in the Word and that’s when you should be in constant prayer. The devil won't be able to steal one thing from you!
"Rejoice and exalt in hope, be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation, be constant in prayer." Romans 12:17 AMPC
“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. For you bless the godly, O Lord; you surround them with your shield of love.” — Psalms 5:11-12 NLT
