The Believer's Authority: Chapter 1

Isn’t it amazing to think of all that God has done for us? He paid the debt for our sins, washed us clean, made us brand new, and gave us authority over the enemy! Let’s begin like Kenneth Hagin and pray the Ephesians prayer in the morning and evening.

Ephesians 1: 16-20

Father, I cannot stop thanking you for all you have done in my life. I am asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give me spiritual wisdom and insight so that I might grow in my knowledge of God.  I pray that my heart will be flooded with light so that I can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.  I also pray that I will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for me who believes him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 3:14-19

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.  I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower me with inner strength through his Spirit.
