Okay, we have learned that we have been raised from the dead, we have been seated with Christ in heavenly places, and that we have been given authority and power. That is a lot to take in and at times it make actually take a while to sink in, but once it does it is like a bolt of electricity has hit us and away we go. We start binding and taking authority over everything from calorie demons to the demons that make our children disobey.
My how easily we can get off track. This chapter is so good in grounding us to what we have authority over (demons) and what we don't (a person's will). If you will remember that you will not get frustrated. Don't get wrapped up in whether they are oppressed or possessed, just tell the demon to leave and he has to go!
Stay grounded, put your armor on, and use your authority. You are a child of God anointed to do the works of Jesus and to spread the good news.
