Day 14: You Have no Other Option Than…
Read the remainder of Chapter 7

“As a result of hearing the revealed Word of God in His heart He became a stone. A house built of stones on the solid foundation of a rock will endure the storms that beat against it.” - p.84

These two sentences are so powerful! May our hearts be so built on the Word of God that we are not shaken or moved by trials, hurt feelings, lack of recognition for our talents, or anything that could possibly bring offense! I have seen so many walk away from God after being offended. It is so not worth any of it!

My heart breaks when witnessing someone on a slow spiral path of being out of the will of God. Many times the first step on this path is taken because they didn’t get a leadership position, didn’t get asked to speak, didn’t get to lead a song, didn’t get to be on the prayer team, etc. I don’t care what I do in the house of God. It is such a privilege to be in His house worshipping and learning with brothers and sisters in Christ. Going to church is not just about ourselves, it is also about being there for someone else.

I want to be a solid rock that cannot be moved. How about you?
