The physician usually prescribes medication and on the bottle the instruction for taking the medicine are written in detail. Then understanding is that if we take the medication as prescribed we will get well. We all know that man’s medicine only takes care of the symptoms and rarely produces a cure.
“With my whole heart, with my whole life,
and with my innermost being,
I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God!
2 Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration.
How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness
you’ve done for me?
3 You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done.[a]
You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease.
4 You’ve rescued me from hell[b] and saved my life.
You’ve crowned me with love and mercy.
5 You satisfy my every desire with good things.[c]
You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again[d]
like a flying eagle in the sky!”
Psalms 103: 1-5 (TPT)
“Forget not” is the most important part. Everything that we need has already been bought for us. We simply cannot forget it. I would encourage you to write this out, put it somewhere where you will see it everyday. Repeat it out loud so much that it gets inside of you. Say it throughout the day over and over again and watch what God does!
Can’t sleep? God has the remedy for that too -
“ He gives His beloved sleep/” - Psalms 127:2
”You will lie down and sleep soundly” - Proverbs 3:24
God hasn’t left anything out. We must trust Him and walk this thing out.
In Luke 17: 12-19 a group of lepers were healed and they were all given the same instructions, “Go and show yourself.” This went against everything for them. They were used to hiding themselves from society. We do the same thing when we are sick or have a disease, we stay home! That is the worst thing we can do. No matter what - get to church! Do something! My grandmother would always get up, get dressed, and put on her makeup regardless of how she felt. She would say, “only sick people stay in their pajamas. I am healed and well.”
Let’s get up, trust God and do something extraordinary! Praise and thank God as a part of your daily routine!
