The Believer's Authority: Chapter 4

Breaking the Power of the Devil! Don't you just love the way that sounds? It is time for the body of Christ to understand that the enemy has no right to dominate, intimidate, or rule us. Yet, it seems that people have more assurance in the power of the enemy then in the power of God. Oh, they know what Satan will do, they just aren't sure what God will do.

God has told us what He will do in His Word. He gives life and life more abundantly. He saves, heals and delivers. Every good and perfect gift comes from Him. So if there is anything in your life that doesn't meet the previous description of life and life more abundantly, stand up and take authority over it.

"In the name of Jesus, I break the power of the devil over ______________in my life, and I claim victory."

Remember you are not demanding of God when you demand your rights, you are demanding of the devil. I love what Smith Wigglesworth said, "I'm not moved by what I see. I'm not moved by what I feel. I'm moved only by what I believe." So stand your ground against the enemy.
