Church Family!

Let's reflect on 2023, what an incredible year! First, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents who have entrusted us with the privilege of nurturing and guiding your children. Your kids are truly remarkable, and we firmly believe that they will wholeheartedly serve the Lord throughout their lives and passionately pursue Him. Our primary objective is to provide unwavering support to you, the parents, as we instill the gospel and the truth of God's Word into the hearts of your children. We desire for them to utilize the Word of God as a guiding filter for every aspect of their lives. 

We began the year by emphasizing the importance of prayer, encouraging our children to prioritize prayer as the first step in their daily lives. Pray first, not last! Then, we looked at The Good Shepherd and went straight into 9 weeks of the fruit of the Spirit. One of my most favorite moments was our first ever Seedkids Takeover Service! Seedkids led the entire main service in the sanctuary. We ended the service with an opportunity for kids to be baptized. We dedicated time to teach them about the meaning behind baptism and we were thrilled to see a fantastic turnout for this significant event.

Throughout 2023, our curriculum has taken us on an incredible journey, exploring the foundational stories of our faith. We began by diving into the awe-inspiring creation of the world and the role of God as our Creator. One of the most powerful lessons we encountered was the story of Joseph, a testament to the transformative power of forgiveness. We marveled at Joseph's ability to extend grace to his brothers, despite the immense pain they had caused him. Also, we were amazed by the extraordinary account of Moses and the burning bush, where God revealed His divine plan for the liberation of His people. This story served as a reminder of God's faithfulness and His ability to use ordinary individuals to accomplish extraordinary things! 
 

Our journey of learning and growing continued as we studied the story of the Israelites' exodus from Egypt. We witnessed their courageous step of faith as they embarked on a journey towards freedom, guided by God's unwavering presence and provision. As we journeyed with the Israelites through the wilderness, we learned valuable lessons about trust, perseverance, and reliance on God's faithfulness. Despite the challenges they faced, we saw how God's love and guidance never wavered, leading them towards the promised land. 
  
Throughout these lessons, we were reminded of God's unwavering call on our lives. We learned that just as He called and guided the Israelites, He continues to call and lead us today. It is through our obedience and trust in Him that we can experience the fullness of His plans and purposes for our lives. 

As we reflect on these powerful stories, we are inspired to step out in faith, knowing that God is with us every step of the way. May we continue to embrace His call and walk in the path He has set before us. Throughout the year, we have witnessed incredible spiritual growth in your children. We have had the privilege of witnessing many salvations, as well as several children being filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. These powerful encounters with God have been truly transformative for the children, and we are grateful to have been a part of their spiritual journey. 
  
It has been an absolutely awesome year with your children, and we are honored to have been a part of their lives. We look forward to continuing this journey together, as we strive to create impactful and life-changing experiences for them.

SEEDKIDS YEAR IN REVIEW: 2023
  
PARENT CHILD DEDICATION: One significant event we had was our parent-child dedication class. This class was designed to educate parents on the importance and meaning of dedicating their children to the Lord.  

We believe that involving parents in the spiritual journey of their children is crucial, and we are committed to providing resources and opportunities for you to actively participate in their growth. We encourage you to continue utilizing the parent's devotionals and engaging in discussions with your children about what they are learning. Together, as a family, we can deepen our understanding of God's word and strengthen our faith. 
  
SEEDSCOUTS: We were thrilled to be able to launch our Seedscouts (Girls and Boys Groups) with Royal Rangers for boys in 1st-5th grade, and Mpact Girls for girls in 1st- 5th  grade. It has been an amazing journey witnessing these children grow within their gender-specific groups, as we teach boys how to become godly men and girls how to become godly women. 
  
In addition, we organized a memorable trip to Turkey Bluff farms, where the girls earned their cooking badges and the boys had an exciting pow wow with their fellow rangers at Camp Timberlake Ranger Bro’s). These separate yet collaborative experiences provided the boys and girls with an opportunity to have fun, bond, encounter Jesus, and develop valuable skills while earning badges. 
  
SEEDKIDS DREAM TEAM SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT: We also prioritized the growth and development of our teachers through events such as Kidmin Summit. We have the best teachers that truly love your children.

EVENTS: We cannot forget to mention our annual Easter Carnival and Hallelujah Hoedown, two cherished events that bring families together to fellowship on The Seed Church lawn. In addition to Camp Timberlake, we also had an incredible experience at our first kids conference Kidcon23. We had the privilege of taking our 1st-5th graders to this event, and it was an absolute blast! The children had an amazing time, and we were brave enough to let them stay in a hotel.
  
We enjoyed kicking off The Christmas season with our Christmas play, “RAAD Tidings”. The kids did a great job and all the amazing volunteers made this event a great success.
