Hallelujah Hoedown
Featuring a new addition - Our carnival tailgate area!
We will still be having our BIG blow ups, rides, food, & more, however, remember those carnival games that we have setup each year for children to (for example) throw the hackie sack in the frogs mouth and in return they get some candy? We’re doing the SAME thing except for this year we’ll be moving those carnival games into a “trunk or treat” area. This is where we need YOUR help.
To participate:
You must be able to have your family-friendly themed tailgate area setup by 5:30pm on October 31st
You can team up with another individual or couple to help with the cost, setup, hosting, & breakdown. Your tailgate area must never be left unattended during the event from 5:45pm - 9pm.
You must be able to purchase at least 1000 pieces of candy for your tailgate area. We are estimating 500-600 children. The minimum would be two pieces per child 1000-1200 pieces of candy total. If you’d like to do more, you can!
Your tailgate area must include a carnival game (either choose from the 7 we own listed on the registration form or come up with your own!)
Your theme must be family-friendly for ALL ages even toddlers. Remember, we do this event as an outreach to our community as an alternative to halloween. We grabbed a few examples below of themes but please feel free to be creative and come up with your own or design yours based off of the themes of our carnival games (samson, sports, frog, etc)
You must fill out the registration form - Keep in mind space is limited and we will be accepting spots on a first-come first-serve sign up basis.
Vendor Tables:
We are opening up the Carnival tailgate area to vendors! If you would like to sell your home-made goods, crafts, or products you are welcome to setup an area within your tailgate area! We just ask that you participate in the carnival by following the participation rules above! Make sure to fill out the registration form to reserve your spot.
