No matter how you look at things or how you interpret scripture, it is hard to deny the fact that the rapture of the church is close at hand. I have always been taught to plan as though Jesus is not returning for another hundred years; but live as though He is coming today. In other words, plan for my future wisely, get an education, a career, retirement plan, and all the things we will need to survive to live in the natural. However, I am to live my life (spiritually) as someone who is holy and dedicated to the Lord.
“The day of judgement is either approaching, or it is not. If it is not, there is no cause of an adjournment; if it is, I choose to be found doing my duty…” - p.192
We must live holy lives so that we can stay in tune with the Holy Spirit and be able to discern the times. God knew you would be alive now and He had confidence in your ability to stand and to be a witness to others. He left us these signs to not grow weary in well doing but to live with a great urgency for winning the lost.
I encourage you to read the many signs according to the calendars God gave us:
The Days of Creation
Counting the Years
Biblical Symbols
“Whether I have shown this to you through Israel, a falling away from the truth, the advances in technology, the way the calendar corresponds to Biblical prophecy, or something else, I am basing my observations on what I read in the Bible.” - p. 211
God loves us so much, He gave us these signs so that we would be prepared and ready! As we seek Him, He reveals more and more of Himself to us. He wants us confident, full of courage, and fearless.
Let’s remain steadfast, in position, and in tune with the Holy Spirit. You’ve got this!
Love,
Pastor Lisa
P.S. - Did you see that the marriage supper lasts 7 years? We eat for 7 years! What a feast that must be!
